Overview:
This article will show how team managers can assign rooms within their group block to team members. Managers will only be able to do this once the block of rooms has been confirmed.
***Note this is only for tournaments partnered with GotSport.
Instructions:
Step 1:
- From your account, go to the "Booking" tab and then click on "Manage" to start assigning rooms.
Step 2:
- Click on "Transfer Rooms" for the dates you would like to transfer to a team member.
- *You will need to do this for each date reserved.
Step 3:
- Fill in the team members name you would like to transfer the room to.
- *You will need to do this for each date reserved.
Step 4:
- Click on the yellow button to view list of team members.
Step 5:
- Click on "Assign" to assign the rooms to a team member.
Step 6:
- Team member has been assigned.
Step 7:
- Your team members will not receive a notification once they have been assigned. Below is a sample email you can send to your parents.
Hi,
Hotel accommodations have been made for the (Insert Event Name) at the (Insert Hotel Name here).
Please login to your GotSport account to secure your reservation. Once you have logged in, select the ‘booking” tab on the left-hand side of the page. This will bring you to your hotel bookings in GotSport at which point you will see an alert that there is an action to take on your reservation; such as updating your credit card information.

How to Add Credit Card to an Assigned Reservation
**The card on file is strictly to guarantee the room, the hotel will require a credit card at check in to pay for the room rate, incidentals, and taxes. Please do not reach out to the property directly as all changes, updates and cancellations need to be made through GotSport.
