1) Please go to the link below
2) When you arrive at the login screen, you can either:
- Log in using your EXISTING GotSport email/password ( Supplied by your Club Registrar)
- Click on FORGOT PASSWORD to attempt to recover your password
- Click on CREATE AN ACCOUNT, to create a new account for the GotSport system
3) Once you have logged in or your account is created, click on REGISTER and choose your role
4) Confirm all of your Contact Details
5) Choose your Club
6) Click SELECT Under Reg Fee
Note: The fee will always be $0 at this step. That’s because submission of this initial “Background Screening for ECNL Members” registration form simply creates your specific US Club Soccer background screening application link on your dashboard. Payment will be applicable when completing the US Club Soccer background screening application.
7) Click CHECKOUT
8) Click REGISTER
9) You will now be redirected to your DASHBOARD. Click on MORE INFO next to the background check requirement. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK BILLING ACCOUNT FOR YOUR CLUB, THE COACHES NEED TO BE UPLOADED TO YOUR CLUB WITH A USCLUB ROLE AND AFFILIATION. ADDITIONALLY, WHEN THEY GO TO THEIR DASHBOARD, THEY NEED TO CLICK ON THE BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENT NEXT TO YOUR CLUB NAME, NOT NEXT TO ECNL.
10) Click on SUBMIT NEW REPORT
Fill out all information, review all acknowledgements, and click the checkbox for each acknowledgement if you agree. Sign your name on the signature line (works with mouse or touchscreen) and save your signature. Lastly, click the submit button on the bottom of the page to submit your report.
11) Submit PAYMENT
If your club has purchased credits for your background check, click Submit.
If no credits are available, click "Credit Card Checkout" input your credit card information, click the "Yess Agree To Payment Terms" button and click Pay.
12) Continue and submit your application via JDP, US Club Soccer’s background screening provider
You will now receive an email from JDP and US Club Soccer to complete the final background check process. YOU ARE NOT DONE UNTIL YOU HAVE CLICKED ON THE LINK IN THE EMAIL AND SUBMITTED THE FINAL BACKGROUND CHECK. The email will look like the below:
Please Note: If you do not receive the email, you can access your unique background check link by:
1) Log in to your account (How to Login)
2) You will now be redirected to your DASHBOARD. If you are viewing your personal information, click on DASHBOARD in the menu bar. Once on your dashboard, Click on MORE INFO next to the background check requirement
3) You will see the link next to your previous submission. Click on the link to be taken to the JDP site to complete your background check.
