Event Director- Send Invitation to College Coach to Attend an Event

Overview:

Event Directors now have the ability to search the college coach database, and send an email invitation to attend their event. The invitation is sent to the College Coach email and can Accept or Decline the invitation without signing into the GotSport platform.

Instructions:

Step 1

• From within the Event, click into the Access & Options tab and enable the "Show College Coach Registration Link and Attending Coaches List" setting.

Step 2

• You'll now have a "College Coaches" tab at the top along with your other event tabs.
• Click onto the "College Coaches" tab and then click "Invite Coach"

Step 3

• Search for the coach by userID or first/last name.
• NOTE** The College Coach Profile needs to be correctly set up in the GotSport system to find the profile
• Once you've found the College Coach, click Invite and the email invitation will be sent.

Step 4

• After the College Coach has accepted the email, they will show within that tab. You can click the box to the left of their name to send them a message as desired.

NOTE** If you do not see the invitation in your email, please check spam/junk. Additionally, you might need to log into your email provider and "Whitelist" GotSport and [e-mail] to allow for our messages to deliver. The invitation will look like this:
