Overview
A coach will upload their certification if they are unsuccessful through syncing their account with the USSF learning center.
This article will provide a step-by-step process of how a league association can approve a coach's certification that is uploaded through the Coach Certification Requirement.
Instructions
Step 1:
- From your dashboard, click on the Associations module and select Coaches from the dropdown.
Step 2:
- Click on Saved Reports, and select Pending Coach Certification from the dropdown list.
- You will now see a list of your coaches with a pending coach certification requirement.
Step 3:
- Click on the coach's name.
- NOTE: It is highly recommended to open the coach's name in a new tab. This can be done by right-clicking on the coach's name, and selecting New Tab.
Step 4:
- In the new tab, select the Requirements tab at the top of the page.
- Then click on the Coach Certification requirement.
- Click on the ID number.
Step 5:
- Scroll down till you see the file the coach has uploaded in this requirement. Click on the file to view the certification.
- If the certification is accepted by the league, go back to the page with the certification report. Click on the dropdown that currently says "Pending" under Update Decision Status, and change to Approve. Now click Update.
Step 6:
- Go back to the original tab with the list pending coaches. Click on the checkbox next to that same coach.
- Click on the Bulk Actions button, and select Assign Certifications from the dropdown.
Step 7:
- Select the certification type and completion date. Then click Save.
- The coach no longer shows in the list of pending coaches.
- The coach's requirement will now show as Fulfilled.
