Q: How can we as a club help our teams get started with GotSport Live?
- Make sure that you have updated the team staff members and contact persons in the GotSport system with e-mail addresses and mobile phone numbers. so that the invite e-mails get to the right individuals.
- Post information about GotSport Live on your website.
- Send out information about GotSport Live via email to all teams and players, team staff members, and parents.

Q: How do we get started with GotSport Live and get our team ready?
- All teams and games in the GotSport system are already synced to GotSport Live (as well as all tournaments, leagues, clubs, etc). You will be ready to go right from the start!
- Everyone who is a team staff member (Coach or Manager) in the GotSport system automatically becomes an admin for the team when you create your user account and connect to your profile on GotSport Live. Team admins can upload team photos, adjust team settings, invite other team members, and much more.
- As a Team Staff Member (Manager or Coach) of a team in the GotSport system, you will receive an email with a personal link to connect your roles on GotSport Live. If you haven't received an email, you can still get started. Make sure to update your user profile in the GotSport competition system with the correct email address and mobile phone number, and you will automatically be linked to your roles when you log in.
Q: Who updates the team and team member data on GotSport Live?
- The team squad, staff members, and photos are managed by the individual teams in the GotSport system, and this data is synced to GotSport Live.
- Some team data can be edited by Team Admins in GotSport Live, like team pictures, shirt colors, abbreviation names, etc.
Q: If I change something in GotSport, how long does it take until I can see the change in GotSport Live?
- It depends on the change, but often the sync between the systems only takes a few minutes.
Q: Who can report goals and game events from the games?
- Live coverage of goals and game events will continue to take place via the GotSport Score Input process. Any Manager/Coach or Club Admin can input the score, which will then sync to the GotSport Live app
- Team admins and assigned team reporters can use the goal and game event reporting features in the app. See more information in the below guide:
Q: Can we create our own games, for example, training games or friendlies?
- Yes, Team Admins can create games that aren't listed on the team page in GotSport Live under "Games" by pressing the button to add a new game.
Q: Is it possible to add new players and team managers via the app?
- Roster adjustments can only be made within GotSport. GotSport Live cannot add new players or team officials. The only role allowed to be added in GotSport Live is the Team Reporter role for the purposes of live streaming and live ticker.
Q: How do I create the lineup of the team in the app?
- The team rostered is entered via the GotSport system that automatically syncs to GotSport Live.
- Team admins and team reporters can create the game lineup by using the lineup feature in the game menu under the blue + sign on the game page. See more information in the below guide:
Q: How do I livestream games?
- Team admins and team reporters can live stream games via the app or external camera equipment.
- Learn more about this in the "Livestream" guides.
Q: What happens if someone reports an incorrect result in the app? Will there be an error in the table?
- No, the official result will be entered into the GotSport system and then transferred to the app.
- The GotSport Live app obtains all data from GotSports’ system but has its own logic for displaying the live ticker and the tables. If any errors occur, please report them to the event director/admin
Q: What do we do if our club is missing or has the wrong logo in GotSport Live?
- Update the club logo in the GotSport system, and it will be updated on GotSport Live. Please work with your club admin if you're having any issues or complications.
Season Start - FAQ
Q: Do I need to register on the app?
- To use the GotSport Live app, you will need to create a personal account. You will need to provide your first and last name, date of birth, gender, and email address. Of course, your data will be protected in accordance with the provisions of the law and will not be shared with third parties.
Q: Why do I have to provide my email address?
- Your email address is required during registration for data protection reasons. Once you have completed the login process, you will receive a 6-digit code for identification. Of course, the email address will not be passed on or used in any other way.
- In addition, the email address is registered to prevent the entire community from misuse.
