Overview:
When purchasing a ticket new to the system, the user will be prompted to create an account before the purchase. GotSport recommends gathering as much customer data as possible, but if you have customers purchasing tickets on site, this setting will remove some of the required fields to help expedite the process.
Instructions:
Step 1:
- Within your Store settings, scroll down and enable the "Show Only Required Fields for User Sign Up" button.
- After configuring the rest of your settings, scroll to the bottom and click Save.
Step 2:
- Once that setting has been enabled, any New Users who are promoted to Create an Account will only be required to enter their First and Last name and Email/UserID.
