Overview
You are able to create Contact Lists in the system allowing you to create blocks of contacts making messaging them much easier and less time-consuming.
Note: When a contact email is updated, added, or removed in a block within these contact lists, it will NOT automatically update your list. If a coach for the team is included in the block that you create, but then is removed from that team, the coach will still be included in communications from that team.
Instructions
Step 1
From your Dashboard, select Communications on the left-hand side then Contact Lists from the drop-down menu.
Step 2
To add a new list, click + New Contact List.
*This page will also list all of your current contact lists once created.
Step 3
You will first be prompted to Name the Contact List then click Save.
Step 4
From this page, you are able to add Blocks or groupings of contacts, to this list. Upon adding the blocks, you are able to view the contacts who are being added as well. There are 5 different block options where you can add as many as you would like to a list. Under Add Block from Category your 5 options are:
Users: Under users, you are able to select roles from your organization such as players, coaches, and managers. Selecting one of these roles and clicking Add Block will add all of those types of users with that role to this list. Upon adding blocks, you will see on the right-hand side how many recipients are being added from these blocks and can even click View Recipients to see the specific name and emails.
Teams: Under Teams, you are able to filter through and select as many teams as you would like from your organization. Once you have selected your team(s), you are able to then select who from that team you want to message whether it be players, coaches, managers, or any combination of them. Upon adding blocks, you will see on the right-hand side how many recipients are being added from these blocks and can even click View Recipients to see the specific name and emails.
Programs: Under Programs, you can filter through all or any amount of your programs. You can add as many blocks as you would like with any amount of filters. Upon adding blocks, you will see on the right-hand side how many recipients are being added from these blocks and can even click View Recipients to see the specific name and emails.
Program Registrations: Under Program Registrations, you can filter through all or any amount of your programs. You can add as many blocks as you would like with any amount of filters. Upon adding blocks, you will see on the right-hand side how many recipients are being added from these blocks and can even click View Recipients to see the specific name and emails.
Events: Under Events, you can filter through all event settings and find the teams you are looking for. Once you have found the teams, you can then select which contacts from the team will receive the emails whether it be players, coaches, managers, or any combination of them. Upon adding blocks, you will see on the right-hand side how many recipients are being added from these blocks and can even click View Recipients to see the specific name and emails.
