Step 1: Here you will click on "Scheduling" followed by "Competitions".
Step 2: Once here, you will select "New Competition" on the right.
*Competition: This is a folder that will hold all the information for the event you are setting up. This folder will store events year to year. For example, if you have a Memorial Day event each edition will be stored in the same competition folder.
Step 3: In the pop up you will give this Competition a Name, Type, Sport, as well as the Grouping. Once done you will click "Save". Note: Grouping will always be set to "By Gender, Age & Level" for USSSA.
Step 4: Once this is saved you will be brought to your "Competitions" page where you will select that competition. In this example, it is Test Event 2.
Step 5: Now that the Competition is selected on this page click on "New Event".
Note: Competition- If your event is under the competition when selecting "New Event," then this will default to that competition. However, you can select which competition this event will be under.
Here you will select the Name, Competiton Type, Season Year, and Age Method (For USSSA will always be set to Calendar Year).
Under the Calendar, you will "Click" on the dates of the event. In this example, it is June 19th, 2021.
For Stature, you will select the appropriate stature for this event.
Zip Code: Enter Zip code of the "Primary Event" Venue.
Now select "Save".
Step 7: Now that the Event is created, on this page, you will click "Setup" to create your first Division.
Step 8: Here you will select New Division
Step 9: Once on this page, you will fill out all of the requested information.
Division, Gender, Age, Minimum Games, Class, Dates, Entry, Gate, Other, and Max Teams. Followed by clicking "Add".
Now your Division is created and complete below is a screenshot of what it will look like. You can click "edit" and modify that division.
If you would like to create another Division, simply repeat Step 8 above.
Step 11: Now that your Division is created we can move onto How to build an Event by clicking on "Event" at the top left of the page.
