Overview:
Sometimes, when registering a player/coach may accidentally set their child's player account as their own, and never create a GotSport account for themselves. Club Admins can easily resolve the issue if the player is part of their club
Instructions:
Step 1
- Navigate the player's account and switch the email address from Email/UserID box to the Contact Email box.
- This will allow you to create an account (login) for the parent using that email address and will solve the 'email already exists' error when creating an account.
NOTE: You will want to make sure the contact email has the parent's email so they get notifications pertaining to that account.
Step 2:
- Once completed, you will be able to create the parent account and connect it to the player's profile.
