Create a League or Tournament (Competition)

Overview

This article will show you how to Create a Competition for a League or Tournament.

A "Competition" is the Umbrella that all of your similar events will be placed under.

For Example, if you have an annual tournament called "Christmas Day Shootout" you will create this Competition as "Annual Christmas Shootout", you will NOT name the competition the same as the event name.

Instructions

Step One:

From your Dashboard, click Scheduling and then Competitions.

Step Two:

Here you will select New Competition.

Step Three:

In the window, you will Name the Competition, select the Type (League, Tournament, Registration, etc.), select the Season, select the Grouping, and if needed, mark off the Report the Team Registrations to your state association or governing body. Click Save.

Once the Competition is saved, it will appear in your Competitions list
