Teams will receive points for success in competitive events & leagues, which must meet our standards for competition to be included in the rankings.
Ranking points are awarded to teams placing as winners, finalists and so on. The size of the flight will determine how many teams get placed.
Size of flight breakdown:
- 2-4 teams = Champions only
- 5-7 teams = Champions & Finalists
- 8-15+ teams = Champions, Finalists & Semi-Finalists.

16+ teams = Champions, Finalists, Semi-Finalists & Quarter-Finalist points
- Quarter-Finalist points are awarded only if event is a GotSoccer Event. If they do not use GotSoccer software they can only get up to semi-finalists placements/points.
- Quarter-Finalist points are awarded only if event is a GotSoccer Event. If they do not use GotSoccer software they can only get up to semi-finalists placements/points.
Most events and leagues in the USA are hosted with GotSport and bonus points for individual games are available. Bonus points can be made for things like winning, drawing games, or beating a team ranked far higher.
As a team builds points from different events and league play, their ranking total goes up and the team goes up in the rankings. The points a team makes from a competition last up to 1 year and the overall rank is the their total points from the last 12 months of competition.
